Feedback & Complaints

Last updated: 13 August 2026

Your experience matters to me. Whether something has gone well or something hasn't felt right, I want to hear it - feedback is how coaching stays honest, safe, and genuinely useful. This page explains how to share feedback or raise a concern, and what happens next.

Share feedback or raise a concern

There are two ways, and you're welcome to use whichever feels easier:

  • Talk to me directly - the quickest route. Email abby@adhdcoachingandsupport.co.uk or simply say so in a session. If something isn't working, I would always rather you told me, so we can put it right.
  • Use the feedback form- a short, private form if you'd prefer to put something in writing, or share something you'd find easier not to say face to face.

How I handle a concern or complaint

  • I'll acknowledge it promptly and take it seriously - I aim to reply within a few working days.
  • I'll listen properly, without defensiveness, and try to understand what's happened from your point of view.
  • Where I can put something right, I will - and I'll tell you what I'm doing about it.
  • Everything is handled confidentially, in line with my Privacy Policy.

If we can't resolve it

If you've raised a concern with me and you don't feel it's been resolved, or your complaint is of a more serious nature, you can escalate it to one of the professional bodies I work under and whose codes of ethics I follow:

These codes guide how I contract, hold boundaries, manage dual relationships, and refer on when coaching is not the right fit.

Young people and parents

If you're a young person I work with, you can give feedback or raise a concern yourself - it's your coaching, and your voice matters most. Parents and guardians can also raise a concern on behalf of a child, or about their own experience of working with me.

Concerns about your personal data

If your concern is specifically about how I've handled your personal information, please see the Your right to complainsection of my Privacy Policy, which also explains your right to raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
